During his nine-year tenure with Equity Office, which was acquired by the Blackstone Group in 2007, Kaigh lead the operational and financial performance of an 18 million-square-foot office portfolio, which included improving customer satisfaction and reducing operating costs by 5%.
As VP, Kaigh will be responsible for leading the operational and financial performance of the firm's 6.7-million-sf commercial real estate portfolio. "Ed brings an outstanding track record of leadership and performance with one of the country's largest real estate companies," said Eric Marx, senior vice president of asset management, in a prepared statement. "We look forward to Ed using his expertise and experience to boost the performance of Lightstone's commercial real estate portfolio."
