The building is fully leased by Dominick's Finer Foods. Amalgamated Trust & Savings Bank Trust No. 4583, which is a foreign investor, is the seller, Alexa says.

The building is in the Orland Greens Shopping Center, with the rest of the shopping center owned by Oak Brook, IL-based Inland Real Estate Group of Cos., Alexa says. "It is a very good location," he says. "You have good traffic counts (and) good demographics." The building is also near Orland Square Shopping Mall and is on highly-trafficked LaGrange Road. Dominick's has a lease until 2011 with "a few five-year options," Alexa says.

JD Realty also recently acquired a 10,000-sf retail building at 4000 W. 59th St. in Chicago for $2 million. The building is leased by Walgreens until the end of 2018 and is at the northwest corner of Pulaski Road and 59th Street, Alexa says. The seller of the property was 4000 W. 59th Street Chicago LLC, a Chicago realty company.
