Robert Half Intl. Takes 236,000 SF at Bishop Ranch

SAN RAMON, CA-Global staffing company Robert Half International will relocate its regional operations here from Pleasanton in 2010. The public company signed a long-term lease for an existing 236,000-sf, five-story building owned by Sunset Development Company within Bishop Ranch, a 585-acre, 10 million-sf master planned development.

A source with Robert Half tells GlobeSt.com the move will allow the company to consolidate local operations now housed in five leased buildings totaling 220,000 sf in Pleasanton, only two of which are located adjacent to each other. Its existing leaseholds are located within the 854-acre Hacienda Business Park and are leased from Britannia Business Center. There will be little to no overlap in the lease terms, she says.

The asking rate for office space in San Ramon ranges from $27 to $36 per sf per year. Sunset Development SVP Ed Hagopian declined to specify the asking rate for Sunset’s space but did say they are careful to be neither the least expensive nor the most expensive in the market.
