Sudhoff Properties Steps Into CRE as Grubb Shop

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX-The national firm's new affiliate is Grubb & Ellis/Coastal Bend, with two principals staking claims to a territory from Padre Island to Palacios.

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX-The newly formed commercial real estate arm of Sudhoff Properties is hanging its shingle as an affiliate of Grubb & Ellis Co. The agreement carves out a territory from Padre Island to Palacios.

Jacob Sudhoff and Judy Helm are principals of the new affiliate, Grubb & Ellis/Coastal Bend. The office will be located at 6116 S. Staples St. Sudhoff has operated a residential real estate company for several years in the city while Helm has more than 25 years as a property manager.

A Grubb & Ellis spokeswoman acknowledges Sudhoff’s background is residential, but adds it’s not uncommon for Grubb & Ellis affiliates to have residential and development arms. She stresses to GlobeSt.com that “any relationship we’d have with the new affiliate would be strictly commercial.”
