The single-story structure on two acres has a fenced yard that lets American Residential keep its 40 vans and trucks on site, along with other valuable equipment. The new facility will allow the company to grow its business in the Jacksonville market, according to Bryan Craun, general manager.
"This facility had everything they were searching for, including the land size and an enclosed secure environment," says Monte Merritt, senior director of GVA Advantis' Jacksonville office. He adds that American Residential specifically wanted to locate in the city's Southside market.
Merritt worked with two other GVA Advantis brokers, Scott Nelson in Atlanta and Muscoe Garnett in Richmond, VA, to represent the buyer. Grubb & Ellis Phoenix Realty Group negotiated on behalf of the seller, Bard Group LLC of Smyrna, GA.
