CM&G Suburban Team Lures Industry Vet

BOSTON-Wayne Spiegel has landed. Barely a month after departing NAI Hunneman Commercial Co., the well-known broker has found a new home at former competitor Colliers Meredith & Grew. A specialist on the suburban MetroWest market, Spiegel began this week in his new post as a senior vice president of CM&G, one of New England’s oldest commercial real estate firms. Spiegel brings 26 years of experience to the position, which will cover both leasing and sales duties across a spectrum of product types.

“I’m really happy,” Spiegel tells GlobeSt.com, in discussing the move that comes after mulling several potential offers. “It was a clear choice, and I felt it was the right choice.” Spiegel will focus on the MetroWest area along with CM&G Associates William Lynch and Timothy O’Brien, a team that Spiegel explains will interact with other company professionals, such as the investment sales group and brokers servicing other sections of the region. The broad depth of CM&G’s local coverage, and its union this year with Colliers International, were elements of the platform that steered Spiegel to the firm, he relays. “I feel I can accommodate my clients no matter where they need to be, in Massachusetts to really anywhere around the globe,” he says. “That’s very comforting.”
