Coast Real Estate Tapped to Grow Sperry Van Ness

EVERETT, WA-Coast Real Estate Services will head up Sperry Van Ness' effort to grow its presence in the region.

EVERETT, WA-Locally based Coast Real Estate Services has partnered with Sperry Van Ness, the national commercial real estate brokerage firm. In addition to becoming Coast Sperry Van Ness, ownership of the brokerage firm has signed an additional agreement with SVN whereby it will be responsible for growing the SVN network in the region.

Coast is owned by Tom Hoban and Shawn Hoban. SVN executive vice president Kevin Maggiacomo tells GlobeSt.com that the “regional developer agreement” – the second in the company’s history – gives Coast oversight of the development of the brand, including new franchise sales throughout most of Washington State. In exchange, Coast will participate in the revenues derived from their growth efforts, he says.

“We see tremendous opportunity for growth in Washington State,” says SVN International CEO/founder Mark Van Ness. Tom Hoban says Coast’s business was built on property management but its brokerage and leasing services have grown considerably in recent years. “[Our brokerage and leasing] group needed its own mission, its own tools, and its own platform,” he says. “Creating Coast Sperry Van Ness affords us those advantages.”
