Glen Esnard Heads Grubb & Ellis Capital Markets

SANTA ANA, CA-Grubb & Ellis Co. has named Glen Esnard, the former president of Colliers International brokerage services, as president of the Grubb & Ellis capital markets unit. The Santa Ana-based public company says that the newly created position is designed to draw upon Esnard’s nearly 30 years of commercial real estate experience, his knowledge both of investment sales and of the alternative real estate investment market.

Peters, chief executive oOfficer of Grubb & Ellis Co., says that the new position is intended to strengthen the company’s capital markets capabilities and to maximize the synergy between its real estate services and investment businesses. Esnard joins Grubb & Ellis effective June 23 and will be based in the Company’s Santa Ana headquarters. He will be responsible for directing Grubb & Ellis’ investment brokerage business, which includes its Institutional Investment Group and Private Capital Investment Group.
