Kane's responsibilities will include expanding RCA's position in the marketplace and using her relationships to bring new clients to the firm, according to a prepared release. RCA's clients include many of the leading firms across all real estate sectors internationally.

Prior to joining RCA, Kane was director of Sales for SelectLeaders.com, a real estate recruitment site where she not only managed the sales department, but assisted in the launch of various new recruitment vehicles. Her career began in sales and marketing with Hyatt Corp. She has held senior-level sales positions within the real estate publishing arena, beginning with Real Estate Media where, in addition to her national sales position, she assisted with the launch of their regional line of real estate magazines.

Kane holds a BA in Hospitality Management from Johnson & Wales University in Providence, RI. RCA has been covering the US investment market since 2000, and two years ago began the same type of tracking for all countries globally, Kane tells GlobeSt.com. "With this type of growth, this was a great opportunity for me to bring my real estate sales experience to them to keep the momentum going," she says. "It was very enticing for me to join a firm that 'owns the space' of providing national and global transactional data to the real estate market." She further notes that RCA provides data to the New York Times, Financial Times and Wall Street Journal and their clients are responsible for over 80% of the transaction volume recorded in the US.
