The building reps did not know which of the company's brands would be moving into the new space. Asking rent for the 12-story building is $45 per sf and, although a representative of the property could not give exact amount of the lease, Omnicom's lease is "pretty close" to that price, they say.
The representative--noting that it was advantageous for Omnicom to already be embedded in the building--says, "the owner was really happy to have Omnicom coming in for additional space." The deal was brokered by Lee Feld from Feld Real Estate with Donna Vogel from Newmark Knight Frank representing 200 Varick St.
