SVN Chicago Adds Four, Plans North Office

CHICAGO-Sperry Van Ness Chicago has just hired a team of four real estate advisors for office investment sales, three of them from the Chicago office of Marcus & Millichap. The office is also planning to recently hire an industrial team and has plans to open a North Shore office later this year, says Scott Maesel, executive managing director of the firm.

Matt Chapdelaine was hired as a senior advisor and will head the new team, Maesel says. Chapdelaine, advisor Abe Salander and associate advisor Nate Glaisner were brought over from Marcus & Millichap. Representatives from Marcus and Millichap declined to comment on their departure. Kevin Baran, who was formerly with Alliance Realty, has also been hired as an advisor for office investment sales.
