Duke Lands Mitsubishi as Major Tenant

ATLANTA-Duke Realty Corp. has signed Mitsubishi Digital Electronics America Inc. to 265,000 sf of industrial distribution space at Park 85 at Braselton, in the city’s Northeast submarket. The lease brings the building at 625 Braselton Parkway near Interstate 85 to full occupancy, totaling a million sf.

Chris Brown, Duke Realty’s senior vice president in Atlanta, says Mitsubishi will use its Park 85 space as a distribution and repair center for televisions and other electronics. The company will relocate in July from another local distribution facility with roughly the same amount of space, he says.

“The modern configuration of our building helped win the deal for us,” Brown tells GlobeSt.com. He adds that Park 85 offers improved clear heights for trucks to pull in and out of the distribution center, along with other state-of-the-art capabilities.
