Brant Engineering is planning first-quarter 2009 occupancy of the two-story building at 1728 Briercroft Court in Valwood Industrial Park, according to Steve Berger, vice president of CB Richard Ellis in Dallas. He tells GlobeSt.com that the building's appeal is its location in a deed-restricted park with newer space than it currently occupies along Indian Trail in Dallas, which is roughly five miles from the new structure.
"It met their requirement for growth, image and location," Berger says. "It was the right building at the right time." The buyer of record is ZMR Capital Briercroft LLC. The seller is a private investor from Diamond Bar, CA, who bought the holding in August 2004. Representing the seller was Dave Anderson, CBRE executive vice president in Dallas.
In landing the new HQ location for the 56-year-old company, Berger also snared the assignment to sell Brandt's other buildings. Coming to market after the 2009 move will be a 45,825-sf building on 3.56 acres at 11262 Indian Trail and 43,316-sf structure on 2.02 acres at 11245 Indian Trail.
