The leasing effort has been headed by Lew Finkelstein, VP at the Goldstein Group, Glen Rock, NJ. Signed on for opening day were tenants Edible Arrangements, Planet Wings, Tropical Tanning, Philly Pretzels, Carlstadt Pizza, Dollar Wave, Eddie's Dry Cleaners, Carlstadt Bagels amd Sim Nim Nails. Finkelstein represented both the retailers and ARC Properties in each transaction.
"The roster of neighborhood tenants leasing space in this center has been attracted by the demographic makeup of the surrounding marketplace," says Chuck Lanyard, president of the Goldstein Group. Garden Street Plaza is adjacent to an existing Stop & Shop supermarket. Other retailers in the neighborhood include Walgreens, A&P, Blockbuster Video, CVS, Mandee, Burger King, Radio Shack and AutoZone, among others.
