33,000-SF Industrial Property Changes Hands

FAIRFIELD, NJ-Kobrun Investments sheds the property at 161 Dwight Place to lighting manufacturer Fabbian USA Corp. for $3.5 million.

FAIRFIELD, NJ-A 33,280-sf industrial building at 161 Dwight Place here has traded for $3.5 million. The site was sold by Kobrun Investments, a locally based operator of commercial buildings, to Fabbian USA Corp., a manufacturer of high-end lighting. Fabbian plans to use the property as its headquarters.

The property features 8,000 sf of office space on two floors as well as three loading docks and more than 25,000 sf of industrial space. It is located near Interstate 80 and Route 46. A company spokesperson tells GlobeSt.com that the proximity to the highway network of northern New Jersey as well as the property’s corporate park setting attracted Fabbian, which was looking to relocate from Astoria, NY.
