"David has been serving as the sales manger in the Phoenix and Tucson offices since January," says Marcus & Millichap president and CEO Harvey E. Green. "His experience and skill set will be a tremendous asset to our clients and agents throughout Arizona and across the Southwest."
Guido joined the national brokerage firm in July 1999, working out of the Phoenix office. He has served as associate director of the national retail group and was a member of the net-leased properties group. In 2004, he was promoted to senior associate.
The new manager says he has no plans to make significant changes in operations of the two offices. "I just hope it continues the way it's been going," he tells GlobeSt.com. "There's plenty of growth in the area. The market has slowed down some, but we've got some good deals in the works."
Given the current lending environment, Guido continues, what matters most right now is having a crew of astute brokers and agents who know how to bring buyers and sellers together and get deals done. "It's a time for experienced agents to really help their clients," he says. "There are investors out there with the capital and ability to buy. What you need to do is find people that are willing to sell at right place."
