PISCATAWAY, NJ-Trammell Crow Co. has a proposal on the table for a two-building industrial project totaling just more than 538,000 sf, and the developer has cleared the first hurdle in getting that project done. Township officials this week gave their approval for construction of what will be known as Piscataway Business Center.

That approval covers a two-building spec project on 44 acres at South Washington Avenue and Centennial Avenue, less than a mile from Exit 6 of I-287 in Central New Jersey’s Middlesex County. As currently planned, Piscataway Business Center 1 will amount to 307,800 sf, while Center 2 will be a bit smaller at about 231,000 sf. Both buildings will have 36-foot ceilings, and combined will have more than 550 parking spots.
