Tim O. Terrell, executive vice president and partner of Dallas-based Stream Realty Partners LP, tells GlobeSt.com that school administrators took practically as-is office space to pour their tenant-improvement allowance into creating classrooms in the single-story building at 1800 Lakeway Dr. The tenant's rep was Russell Chase of Axis Realty Solutions in Lewisville.
Terrell says space has been empty since Centex Corp. moved out about two years ago. The deal went full circle in less than 90 days.
Terrell says the charter school has been operating in a considerably space at 997 Grandys Lane in Lewisville. According to Internet research, the locally based company, which operates 22 charter schools, is setting up a campus for grades six through 12 this year.
