Five-Year Lease Fills 66,873 SF

FORT WORTH-Cook Children's Physicians Network will light three floors in Burnett Plaza in 30 days. The relocation opens the door for hospital leaders to undertake a campus rebuild.

FORT WORTH-In 30 days, Cook Children’s Physicians Network will begin to move into 66,873 sf of class A office space as an interim location while its hospital district campus undergoes a major overhaul. The five-year lease ropes off three full floors in the one-million-sf Burnett Plaza in the CBD.

David Walters, formerly with Dallas-based Staubach Co.’s Fort Worth office and now part of Jones Lang LaSalle’s local team, tells GlobeSt.com that the lease cycled in a three-month period, with “four or five” options to choose from in Greater Fort Worth. “The availability of space and proximity to their campus made it the right one,” he says. “We looked at all kinds of factors and that one made the most sense.”
