The Shops at Chestnut Green are a retail component of the 93-acre mixed-use development Chestnut Green by VinCo Properties. Along with Walgreens, the retail plaza includes, The Learning Experience, Waxy O'Connor's Irish Pub and Restaurant, Babel's Paint & Tanorama, Foxy Nails and Supercuts.
The New England Patriots hometown is only the latest to have a Walgreens-retail purchase in Massachusetts. Danvers Realty LLC parted ways with its Walgreens-anchored facility for roughly $11 million earlier this month. And Linear Retail Properties and Principal Financial group tag-teamed the purchase of another Walgreens-anchored retail strip in Stoughton in early June.
Robert Tito, svp/manager of NAI Hunneman represented the buyer with John Aron representing the seller. "With the reputation of Walgreens and other key tenants, this area will be consistently yielding high traffic," says Tito in a statement. The seller could not be contacted by deadline.
