Principal David Bercu and SVP Carter Andrus, both with Colliers Bennett & Kahnweiler Inc.'s industrial services group, represented AMB Property Corp. in the lease transaction. Ben Cremer, with NAI Hiffman, represented the furniture in the lease transaction.

Ashley had contracted for distribution with Affinity Logistics, a third party logistics company, which leases 165,000 sf in the building next door to 750 Veterans. However, the furniture seller decided to do its own distribution, and signed this new lease, Andrus says.

The building was constructed in 2007 and has 32 exterior loading docks and 30 feet clear ceiling heights. The property has immediate access to Interstate 55, Andrus says. Ashley is the sole tenant in the building with the rest of the facility available. The asking lease rate is $4.50 per sf, he says.
