Transwestern Appoints Regional Exec

ATLANTA-Bruce Ford will be responsible for the company's leasing, management and investment sales efforts.

ATLANTA-Bruce Ford has joined Transwestern as executive vice president to lead the commercial real estate company’s expanding efforts in the Southeast. In the last six months, Transwestern’s Miami and Atlanta regional offices have added more that two million sf of leasing and management assignments to its combined 18.6 million-sf portfolio.

As the former regional president of GVA Advantis, Ford oversaw the firm’s business in Georgia and the Carolinas, and is expected to bring his working relationships with commercial asset owners to his new position. He will be responsible for overseeing and growing Transwestern’s leasing, management and investment sales efforts in the Southeast and will take a leading role in integrating the company’s sustainability services.

Transwestern continuously takes actions to look out for environment by educating team members about sustainability and providing clients with energy efficient solutions for their properties, Ford tells GlobeSt.com. The firm officers sustainability as one of its owner services to help enhance the value of projects and to be good environmental citizens by improving the environmental quality of buildings and ultimately obtaining LEED certification by the US Green Building Council.
