Research Park's First Building Completed

MORRIS COUNTY, NJ-The 27,000-sf facility is the first step of a development that will build out to 1.1 million sf.

MORRIS COUNTY, NJ-Advance Realty Group has completed the initial building in its Picatinny Applied Research Campus, or PARC. The 27,000-sf, single-story flex building is the first step in a development that will eventually build out to a total of 1.1 million sf within the US Army’s 6,500-acre Picatinny Arsenal, stretching through several communities in this North Jersey County.

Simultaneous to the facility’s completion, its initial tenant has also moved in. Alliant Techsystems, a Minneapolis-based aerospace and defense engineering company, has taken 2,850 sf for a field office.

“From starting construction in February until now, the development process has gone extremely smoothly,” says Brian Banaszynski, vice president of leasing for the Bedminster, NJ-based Advance Realty Group. “Alliant Techsystems is a long-time contractor with the US Army, and getting this space finished quickly was very important to help the company expand some of its mission-related activities at the arsenal.”
