The new lease brings an end to a year and a half of leasing activity at the space. According to Vetter and DeMagistris, Hampshire bought the building with the intention of bringing in multiple tenants. To help attract them, Hampshire added a new roof and a new facade to the property.
More Specialized Transportation, which owns another warehouse property in Hackensack, plans to use 30 Wesley St. as overflow space. The company will join fellow tenants DW Direct, New Jersey Label, Staples, Wicker Warehouse, World Rug, European Stone Art and AARD.
The property is located near several major roadways, including Routes 80, 46, 17 and 3 and the New Jersey Turnpike. In addition, the Teterboro Airport is about a mile away. The building features an on-site property manager, eleven tailgates and parking. Rents at the property range from $5.50 to $6.75 per sf, which is average for the Meadowlands market.
