University Park was constructed in 1981 on 10.9 acres at 100 Howe Avenue, approximately five miles east of downtown Sacramento in the Campus Common submarket. The property is reportedly 96.8% leased to 10 tenants. Tenants include California State Lands Commission; Sutter Health; and Protection & Advocacy Inc.

Jason Flynn and Stephen Van Dusen of Eastdil Secured of San Francisco represented the seller in the acquisition. The sale closed Thursday. KBS, which declined comment on the transaction, has not yet filed any information on the transaction with the SEC.

DRA Advisors Inc. lists the property on its Web site as for sale through Eastdil Secured. KBS REIT last year 9815 Goethe Road in Sacramento for $17.2 million. It also acquired two assets in the Bay Area last year, 625 Second St. ($52 million) in San Francisco and Bridgeway Technology Center ($46 million) in Newark, CA.
