We had no idea (and could've been the last to know...excuse us) that Tim Brown, former star wide receiver for the Oakland Raiders and Notre Dame, has an investment-advice column. In this one, he talks up Starbucks as a stock pick, saying it "has great brand recognition and customer loyalty here in the U.S., so I don't see its competitors encroaching substantially on the Starbucks' clientele."Brown makes an interesting point that while the Starbucks is getting hit by rising food costs, all of its competitors are as well. Additionally, he says their closing of 600 stores will only help the chain. But if you don't care about Brown's investment opinions and are only interested in his on-the-field skills, check out below the killer punt return he did for Notre Dame against USC in 1986.[youtube=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mZzCth2CxPs]
