Curtiss Wright chose to take the new space in order to expand. The company was previously headquartered in Roseland, NJ. Its former space, at 4 Becker Farm Rd., will be taken over by J.H. Cohn, which is also undergoing an expansion.

The property consists of a 208,601-sf, three-story class A office building on 18.6 acres within the Waterview Corporate Center business park. The property recently underwent a capital improvement program that included renovations to the main lobby, the installation of a new cafeteria, exterior landscaping and the addition of new pavers, artwork and lobby furniture. Shortly after completion of the improvements, the property was sold to McMorgan for an amount estimated to be in the neighborhood of $40 million. Space in the building is listed at $27.50 per sf.

Curtiss Wright joins fellow tenants US Express Leasing, a central regional office of the Food and Drug Administration, Quintiles Transnational Corp. and BASES, a service of the Nielsen Co. The new lease brings the building to 75% occupancy, according to Linque Management. Ten Waterview is located near Interstates 287 and 80 and Routes 46 and 202. It is about 45 minutes from Newark Airport, Pennsylvania and New York City.
