Shailendra Group Starts Midtown MXD

ATLANTA-InterContinental Hotels will be part of the design phase for 1400 Peachtree.

ATLANTA-Locally based developer Shailendra Group LLC says it has started the design phase for its 1400 Peachtree mixed-use project at the northern end of Midtown. Shailendra is working with Jamestown Properties, a local real estate investment and management company, on the massive project at the intersection of Peachtree and 17th Streets.

Skidmore Owings & Merrill LLP has been retained as the project’s architect, with the design phase expected to take up to 16 months. The developers also have a long-term agreement with InterContinental Hotels Group to brand and manage the hotel and multifamily components of 1400 Peachtree.
