The property, owned by HRPT Properties Trust is easily accessible to Interstate 93 and Route 128. The university was looking for a larger floor-plate, according to DTZ FHO, as they plan future growth in Massachusetts. The university is also interested in the amenities provided by the new location. One Adams Pl., next door, contains numerous retail and restaurant options.
The timeline for move-in is uncertain, according to DTZ FHO, since the build-out has not been completed yet. When the build-out of the interior is finished, the university will migrate across town.
University of Phoenix provides online classes for higher education, as well as campus throughout the continental US. The Burlington Learning Center at 1 Van De Graaff Dr. in Burlington, MA and the Central Massachusetts Campus at 1 Research Drive in Westborough, MA also boast campuses respective of the Braintree headquarters.
