"Collectively we will have detailed market knowledge in cities throughout the US as well as the ability to access capital globally," says H. Keith Thompson, Hotel AG founding principal.

In turn, the partnership allows Cassidy & Pinkard Colliers to compete in the select-service hotel sector, adding a new property type to its current offerings, according to Robert M. Pinkard, the firm's chairman. Cassidy & Pinkard Colliers claims at least $4.2 billion in commercial sales, finance and lease transactions completed last year, plus $75 million in project management and 13 million sf in commercial and retail properties managed.

Hotel AG, which has 14 offices nationwide beyond its Atlanta headquarters, focuses primarily on upscale mid-market assets. It currently has 50 hotels totaling $600 million on the market and has closed 17 transactions totaling more than 2,000 guest rooms over the last ten months.
