Andrew J. Davidson, EVP and managing director, and Jay Beadle, SVP with MB Real Estate's Corporate Services team, represented the bank in the expansion. "The Central Loop is doing pretty well, but that may change because it's also the home of a lot of financial industries, banks and investment bankers," Davidson tells GlobeSt.com. "But behind the West Loop, the Central Loop is faring the best." He says the Central Loop submarket has an 89% occupancy rate.

Asking lease rates in the building are around $21 per foot, net, Davidson says. The 286,000-sf Rookery is about 97% leased. "It's a historically significant building," Davidson says. "US Bank has identity in the building." The building was designed and occupied by famous architects John Wellborn Root and David Burnham, and is a designated landmark.
