Home Depot Adds 2 Distribution Sites

ATLANTA-The home improvement giant signs BTS leases with ProLogis in CA and OH.

ATLANTA-The Home Depot Inc. has signed two build-to-suit lease agreements with Denver-based ProLogis for regional distribution centers in Redlands, CA and Monroe, OH. Each facility will total approximately 658,000 sf and is expected to add to the locally based home improvement retailer’s dominance.

The Redlands distribution center is being built along Interstate 10 in California’s Inland Empire region, with construction scheduled early next year. ProLogis currently has 88 distribution centers totaling 30 million sf in the Inland Empire.

In Monroe, a suburb of Cincinnati, Home Depot’s new warehouse will be part of ProLogis Park Corridor 75, a 420-acre industrial park being developed near Interstate 75. Construction is slated for completion by the end of this year, adding to ProLogis’ local inventory of 39 buildings totaling 7.7 million sf.
