Grubb & Ellis' Former Pres., CEO Joins C&W

NEW YORK CITY-Joel Herskowitz will focus on agency and tenant representation at Cushman & Wakefield.

NEW YORK CITY-Locally based Cushman & Wakefield has added Joel Herskowitz as a senior director. He most recently served as president and CEO of Grubb & Ellis New York.

Herskowitz will focus on agency and tenant representation at Cushman & Wakefield. He has been actively involved in the commercial real estate industry for nearly 25 years. As president and CEO of Grubb & Ellis New York, Herskowitz led the overall operations of the firm’s tri-state regional offices. Grubb & Ellis tells GlobeSt.com that “we don’t have any comment on Joel joining Cushman & Wakefield.”

Prior to that position, he served as executive managing director of Newmark, where he was responsible for the entire brokerage division. He had previously represented tenants and owners in the sale and leasing of office space at Insignia ESG.
