Adam Montufar, senior associate with Paramount Lodging Advisors Chicago LLC, represented Infinity in the sale, with Robert Chvalovsky, of W-W Real Estate, representing the seller.
The hotel is 10 miles from Chicago O'Hare International Airport, Montufar says. "For this type of product, there's a decent amount of demand and there isn't extensive hotel product in the immediate area," Montufar tells GlobeSt.com. "At this point, Addison is a market comfortable with its hotel space - not oversupplied or saturated."
The sellers, a married couple, developed the hotel in 1999 and held it for the past nine years. Montufar says the Hilton is an ideal first hotel acquisition for Infinity. "They saw this as a nice first step into Hilton product," Montufar says. "There's not a lot of realistic opportunities out there right now to acquire, especially given the market. They saw this as a solid investment, with a manageable room number, that met their criteria."
