Webgistix currently has three distribution facilities in the Eastern US and one in Ireland to deliver fulfillment services for e-commerce retailers. The new facility, which Webgistix says is expandable to 100,000 sf, will focus on online retailers whose order volume exceeds 1,000 shipments a month.

The details of the lease agreement were not immediately available on Sunday. The asking lease rate for space in the development is $0.58-$0.62 per sf (NNN), including a 3% tenant improvement allowance. The leasing agents for the building are Patti Dillon, John Doherty, Jesse Welling, David N. Frear and Jared Werline, all with Colliers International. Frear also is listed as the managing member of an LLC that owns a 3.3% stake in the building.

Unlike traditional fulfillment companies that process orders manually, Webgistix says its software automates the entire fulfillment process such that there is almost no human intervention, which it says improves order accuracy, reduces costs for retailers, and accelerates the delivery of merchandise to consumers.
