For ABT, which is based just across the river in Manhattan, the signing encompasses all of one of four units in the building on the market for lease. It's also an expansion, with the much-heralded ballet company moving over from its existing 50,000-sf warehouse and storage space in Long Island City, NY.

ABT will use its new space to store sets and costumes for its more than 200 productions. "We needed a facility that could be used to store and preserve the integrity of the historical costumes and sets that we use for these performances," David Lansky, ABT's director of operations, tells GlobeSt.com. "Many of these costumes and sets are considered historical and cultural artifacts."

ABT was represented by a CB Richard Ellis team headed by VP Suzanne Sunshine, and including SVPs Mindy Lissner and Joan Meixner, and senior financial analyst Lauren Crowley. GMA Accessories was represented by Team Resource Inc. of Carlstadt, NJ. Terms were not released; the space just leased, as well as the remaining space in the building, have an asking price of $7.25 per sf net.
