The offices house the editorial and business operations for The Legal Intelligencer, Pennsylvania Law Weekly and the Delaware Law Weekly, as well as a number of the group's websites, specialty books, directories and seminars. Incisive Media is the parent company of GlobeSt.com.

"This lease renewal reaffirms our long-term commitment to the Center City area," says Hal Cohen, group publisher, in a release. "The Legal Intelligencer's offices have been located in Philadelphia since its founding in 1843 and we're delighted to be continuing that tradition." The Legal Intelligencer is the oldest daily legal newspaper in the US and the official publication for Philadelphia County legal notices; the group's publications, websites and reference texts serve the Pennsylvania, Delaware and southern New Jersey region.

Cohen tells GlobeSt.com that the group has been headquartered at 1617 JFK since 1991 and has occupied its current suite since 1999. He says that rather than consider relocating, "Due to the great location—proximity to the major Philly law firms and the SEPTA train lines—we focused all our energies into negotiating a fair contract to stay in this same space." Aside from its conducive location, "The rent is reasonable and there are a number of places to eat and shop without going outside."
