Transwestern Dallas Hires SVP

DALLAS-Transwestern Dallas has added one more industrial broker within weeks of picking up a competitor’s team. The new hire bumps the industrial group to 11 in the 270-employee local office.

Brett Owens started yesterday as a senior vice president after a career-building stint at Dallas-based Henry S. Miller Commercial. “It’s hard to leave my close friends at Henry S. Miller,” Owens, with eight years’ experience, says in a press release. Henry S. Miller Commercial was unavailable by deadline to comment on Owens’ exit. He had risen to the senior vice president’s level during his tenure with the firm.

Owens will join a team headed by Sharon Morrison and Brant Landry, who recently left Jones Lang LaSalle and bringing Bill de la Chapelle and Emily Candee with them. “Our industrial team is now one of the strongest in the DFW marketplace with the addition of Brett Owens,” says Jack Eimer, president of Transwestern’s Central region.
