Intertek Relocating to 94,600 SF

PLANO, TX-Keeping to its plan to expand, the London firm, now in 15,000 sf, signs a long-term lease for 10th Street Business Park, one of only five sites meeting the requirements.

PLANO, TX-In a rare business move for the times, London-based Intertek Group plc has kept to a plan to expand, leasing 94,600 sf in the 10th Street Business Park. The firm, upsizing from 15,000 sf, will get its keys in 60 to 90 days.

Intertek, an equipment testing firm, has inked a long-term lease for the balance of a 150,000-sf flex building at 1809 10th St., setting a plan in motion to vacate 420 N. Dorothy Dr. in nearby Richardson. The lease requirements narrowed the selection to five buildings because must-haves included staying in the northeast Dallas submarket and fully air conditioned space, Thomas Lynn, president of the corporate services division of Dallas-based NAI Robert Lynn, tells GlobeSt.com.
