The latest National Retail Federation report on holiday spending says, get this, that holiday sales will experience their lowest increase since 2002. You don't say...Actually, we're surprised that ANY increase is predicted at all, let alone a 1.9% rise over last year. According to its survey, consumers will spend $832.36, up from $816.69. Do YOU know anyone who's spending MORE this year?Nearly 70% of those polled said they will be shopping primarily at discount stores this year. Big surprise.
