"We've worked together for almost four years now," Segrest tells GlobeSt.com about his partnership with Bradner. "Grubb & Ellis was a better opportunity for us. They've got a great platform and we will fill a roll in industrial investment that they weren't servicing before," he says.

As senior vice president of capital markets, Segrest and senior associate Bradner will advise clients in the disposition of bulk, distribution, flex and business park investment properties in Atlanta and throughout the Southeast. "Grubb & Ellis has always been a well-respected company and our goal is to help expand the national platform in institutional investment properties," he says. "We believe our knowledge and experience in industrial properties adds value to the capital markets group. In addition, joining Grubb & Ellis gives us the opportunity to serve our clients and other company offices on a regional basis."

Segrest brings 18 years of experience in industrial real estate to G&E, and has specialized in developing national build-to-suits for Industrial Developments International and leasing industrial space for M.D. Hodges Enterprises. He has completed $1.1 billion in transactions over that time, totaling more than 23 million sf of industrial space nationally, mainly in the Atlanta region.
