AUSTIN, TX-Chris Epp, a Dallas broker for Apartment Realty Advisors, has moved over to the firm's locally based National Student Housing Group. Epp previously focused on small to mid-sized, mid-market multifamily properties at ARA's Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex office, where he managed all aspects of the marketing process, including client development, pricing strategies, valuation/modeling, marketing, negotiation and closing of transactions, as well as working with investors on their acquisition and disposition strategies. ARA's National Student Housing team has completed more than $1 billion in sales nationally in the past five years.

WASHINGTON, DC-David Crowe is the new chief economist for the National Association of Home Builders. Officially taking the position on Nov. 17, he succeeds David Seiders, who is retiring after holding that post for the past 20-plus years. Crowe has been the locally based organization's senior staff vice president for regulatory and housing policy since 2002. He joined NAHB in 1989, after serving as the deputy director for the Division of Housing and Demographic Analysis in HUD's Office of Economic Affairs.
