Gregory Frisoli, senior director of Cushman & Wakefield represented Sun Products, while Jeffery Gage and Edward Tonnesen of Albert Ashforth repped the owner. The financial details of the lease were undisclosed, but sources say the building's asking price is roughly $40 per sf.
The three-story class A building totals 81,950 sf, with Sun Products taking over the second and third floors. The corporation plans to move to their new headquarters roughly between March and April of 2009, when the construction on the building is expected to complete. Sun Products is a combination of Unilever's Detergent Division and Huish Detergents. The companies are staying in their interim offices of Stamford and Westport, both CT, during the interim.
"The central location to Sun's projected workforce and key talent was a main factor in selecting this building," says Frisoli in a statement. "We evaluated numerous space options in the area and concluded that 60 Danbury Rd. provided the most advantageous occupancy solution to accommodate the needs of a 130-person corporate office."
Wilton Corporate Park is 33 acres and contains four buildings--40, 50, 60 and 64 Danbury Rd. Tygris Commercial Finance recently took 14,687 sf at 40 Danbury Rd. after Louis Dreyfus Corp. took the entire top floor. The project began in July of last year, as a project between Prudential Real Estate Investors and Davis Marcus' joint venture partner on the development, costing roughly $75 million.
