The property is located at the intersection of Route 38 and Nixon Dr. in South Jersey's Burlington County, on this city's border with Moorestown. "The opening of the store coincided with the Philadelphia Phillies winning the divisional championship and World Series," Gorman notes. "That creates a great opportunity for the new store to sell its array of Phillies gear to plenty of fans."
The property consists of six buildings totaling nearly 900,000 sf, owned by affiliates of the Philadelphia-based Berwind Property Group. The six buildings were completed in phases between 1992 and 2002, and major tenants include Home Depot, ShopRite, Old Navy, Best Buy, Barnes & Noble and Ulta. The Shopping Centers at East Gate is currently listed with just two vacancies, totaling a little more than 3,200 sf.
