Action Emco has hired Jones Lang LaSalle to find a tenant for the space, which is being marketed as non-divisible with a negotiable rental rate. The direct lease runs through February of 2014. JLL's Hasbrouck Heights office are handling the assignment, along with managing directors Robert Kossar and David Knee; and VPs Chris Hile and Blake Chroman.
"It gives interested tenants an opportunity for immediate occupancy of warehousing and distribution space in the Meadowlands submarket," Kossar says. "Besides its proximity to the ports, the property's close proximity to Manhattan makes this a great location for companies that need to travel into the city on a daily basis."
Action Emco's space, which includes 15,000 sf of office and showroom area, is part of a 316,000-sf, 23-year-old industrial complex located within this city's urban enterprise zone. The company ceased operations here in mid-October, an action that included layoffs of more than 100 employees.
