Cornish & Carey Adds SVPs to Santa Clara Office

SAN FRANCISCO-The commercial real estate services firm gains two brokers from Wayne Mascia, which is being sold to Seattle-based Kidder Mathews.

[IMGCAP(1)]SAN FRANCISCO-Cornish & Carey Commercial/ONCOR International, one of the largest Silicon Valley Commercial real estate firms has added the husband-and-wife tenant rep team Tom and Lori Sweeney to their Santa Clara office as senior vice presidents. Both come to C&C after long stints with Wayne Mascia Associates, a smaller but well established Silicon Valley commercial real estate services firm based in Santa Clara.

In September, Wayne Mascia agreed to be acquired by Kidder Mathews, the Seattle-based GVA affiliate that entered the San Francisco market in 2006 by acquiring Whitney Cressman. The merger, slated to become effective at the end of the year, will nearly double Kidder Mathews’ presence in the Bay Area and shift Wayne Mascia’s alliance to GVA from TCN Worldwide.

Lori Sweeney has been in the real estate industry since 1993. She has been an SVP with Wayne Mascia for the past 10 years. Tom Sweeney spent the past 18 years with Wayne Mascia, also as an SVP.
