Dominican Republic Readies for $150M Tower

SANTO DOMINGO, DOMINICAN REPUBLIC-Las Arenas, the 25-story residential tower, is breaking ground in the Q1 of 2009.

SANTO DOMINGO, DOMINICAN REPUBLIC-Las Arenas, the planned 25-story residential tower, here is breaking ground in Q1 of 2009. The tower will run an estimated $150 million to build.

The luxury tower boasts one bedroom lofts, two, three and four bedroom condominiums and penthouses; all with sound proof walls. The price per unit will run from $210,000 to $2 million. The goal is to market the property as a vacation home. Ayendy Marte of Group G&S says in a statement, “The country’s economic growth is ideal for investing in Juan Dolio,…[it is] a tremendous value for anyone seeking that ‘perfect’ vacation home.”
