CBRE to Market Lauderhill City Center

LAUDERHILL, FL-SouthEast Properties has selected CB Richard Ellis as the exclusive leasing agent for the 600,000-square-foot Lauderhill City Center, formerly the Lauderhill Mall, at 1599 NW 40th Ave. Jay Adams, first vice president, and Jarred Goodstein, associate, will represent the property. The retail center is the oldest enclosed mall in the Southeast and is currently 60% leased, says Bob Geiserman, principal and director for Deerfield Beach-based SouthEast Properties.

“I’ve done business with CBRE for 15 to 20 years and think they’re the ones to team up with,” Geiserman tells GlobeSt.com, adding that that brokerage is also working on the project to bring in a mixed-use development partner. The property surrounding the mall is awaiting approval as a Development of Regional Impact to provide for as many as 2,500 residential units and 1.5 million square feet of commercial and retail space, he says.
