"This affiliation will provide our firm with a strategic advantage in the highly competitive Charlotte market, along with a greater opportunity to service our clients on a regional, national and international level," says Caren Wingate, who formed the company with Elizabeth Machen from separate advisory firms. The pair previously worked together at Percival McGuire Commercial Real Estate in Charlotte.

H. Ross Ford, president and CEO of TCN Worldwide, stated in a release that his group continues to seek out real estate firms in key markets worldwide. "We look forward to Machen-Wingate's contribution and collaboration as we strengthen our presence within North Carolina," Ford said.

Dallas-based TCN Worldwide is comprised of more than 1,200 commercial real estate professionals in 200 primary and secondary markets. It claims approximately $21 billion in annual transactions and 80 million square feet of space under management.
