SPX Leases 230,000 SF at Windgate Center

ROMEOVILLE, IL-The company has taken distribution at 1385 N. Weber Rd., a 658,000-square-foot building, which will now be fully occupied.

ROMEOVILLE, IL-SPX Service Solutions has leased 230,000 square feet at Windgate Distribution Center, 1385 N. Weber Road. This recent lease brings the building to 100% occupied. SPX’s seven-year lease is valued in excess of $4.5 million, according to James R. Estus, EVP with Colliers Bennett & Kahnweiler Inc.’s Industrial Services Group, which represented building owner RREEF in the deal.

“SPX was driven to the location due to its midpoint location between the Intermodal Center in Elwood and O’Hare Airport,” Estus tells GlobeSt.com. “They package and ship out from there.” Southfield, MI-based SPX is a designer, manufacturer and supplier of diagnostic products, tools, equipment and services to vehicle manufacturers and service centers.
